IEC Cables for Use in ATEX & Hazardous Locations

Cables for use in ATEX and IEC applications cover a wide variety of choices. Below is a list of the most popular types of cable we offer with links to more information about each type of cable.

It is important to understand that these cables are not ATEX certified. Cables are considered to be a passive component, and as such can only be approved as part of an overall system. They cannot be separately approved to the EN-ATEX. The ATEX certification applies to the cable glands used in conjunction with the cables.

Cables used in hazardous location shall comply with IEC 60332-1-2 and meet the requirements of EN/IEC 60079-14 chapter 9 and all local requirements.
